白琳工夫
As one of the famous Fujian Gong Fu Black teas (the other two are Tan Yang Gong Fu and Zheng He Gong Fu), Bai Lin Gongfu has a history of more than 250 years. Produced in Bai Lin, Fuding, Fujian Province, Bai Lin Gongfu uses young tea leaves and tea buds picked from Fuding Da Hao and Fuding Da Bai (same tea trees used for Fujian white teas).
The dry leaves of Bai Lin Gong Fu are in a dark color along with some golden tips from the hairy buds. The leaves are curly, bigger than Lapsang Souchong, but smaller than Yun Nan Dian Hong. It smells sweet and fruity. The liquor is bright red, smooth, and mellow. The tea has notes of cream and sweet potatoes along with a long-lasting after-sweetness.
Using Gongfu method to brew this tea, every 5g can make about 6-7 steeps.
